FAS Software Downloads

FAS/HUIT distributes certain scientific software, including Stat, MATLAB, and Mathematica, for use by FAS faculty, staff and students.

Please note that FASRC does not directly purchase software for labs/schools. If you are looking to purchase software for your lab’s use, then your lab, department, or school should make that purchase either directly with the vendor or by contacting HUIT software licensing. Please note that any software intended to be run on the cluster should have a Linux-compatible licensing mechanism and Linux (x64) software.

SAS/JMP Genomics

The Harvard JMP Genomics license permits us to distribute that software only to Harvard enrolled students, faculty and researchers “engaged in original academic research work on both university and personally-owned computers (home use)”.

The license does not cover “institutional research and other administrative uses related to the operation or improvement of a university or at an associated healthcare institution including patient care and sponsored research”. This limitation excludes hospitals, Extension/DCE, i-Lab, and similar entities. More information on obtaining a license for such use can be found at: www.jmp.com/ir

SAS/JMP Genomics Statistical Analysis Software

• JMP 32 Bit edition
• JMP 64 Bit edition
• JMP License File Updates (for those who need updated licenses to remove the “grace period” message.)
